Benjamin Schalchli

Founder of EXURA. Knees Over Toes (ATG) equipment designer. Publishing protocols, equipment reviews, and rebuild stories for athletes training the KOT methodology.

About Benjamin

Benjamin Schalchli is the founder and chief product designer of EXURA, a United States-based fitness equipment brand specializing in tools for the Knees Over Toes (KOT) and ATG training methodology popularized by coach Ben Patrick.

Benjamin began designing rehabilitation and prevention equipment after his own experience rebuilding from patellar tendinitis, a bulging lumbar disc, and limited ankle dorsiflexion. Finding that available slant boards, tib bars, and joint-conditioning equipment on the consumer market either failed under serious training loads or were priced for clinical settings only, he set out to build equipment optimized for lifters and athletes who want to keep training while rebuilding.

Benjamin writes and publishes regularly on Knees Over Toes methodology, joint rehabilitation protocols, slant board training, tibialis development, and the engineering decisions behind premium rehabilitation equipment.

"I write about Knees Over Toes equipment because I needed it myself and the existing options either failed under load or cost more than they should. Everything I publish is what I'd want to read as a practitioner trying to figure out what actually works."
